Slime

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce bottle of white school glue
  • 1 ½ – 2 Tablespoons contact saline solution (more as needed)
  • 1 Tablespoon baking soda
  • Food colouring (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Add glue and food colouring

Squeeze the bottle of glue into a bowl. Add food colouring if desired, and stir until combined. Then mix in baking soda.

Step 2: Mix in saline solution

Add 1 ½ Tablespoons of saline solution and mix until combined. If it is too sticky, add ½ Tablespoon more solution at a time. The more you add, the thicker the slime will be. The less you add, the stretchier it will be.

Step 3: Knead the slime

Use your hands to knead the slime until it holds together. It will be wet and gooey at first, but keep kneading until it becomes smooth and stretchy.

Step 4: Store the slime

Keep slime in an airtight container or zip-top bag when not in use.
