OVERVIEW & PARTICIPATION PROCESS
WHAT IS THE LONDON YOUTH MENTORING ADVISORY COUNCIL?
The London Youth Mentoring Advisory Council will be comprised of around 10 young people across London, ON and the surrounding area. You will meet monthly with fellow council members to undertake projects, share your opinions, and give suggestions to help shape Big Brothers Big Sisters of London and Area. We want to hear your voice on things that matter to you.
Applicant Requirements
- An active or former participant within BBBSOLA and have been, or was, engaged for at least one (1) year.
- Between the ages of 15 to 25.
- Capacity to meaningfully engage and contribute to projects and initiatives in-person and virtually.

What will it look like to be part of the council?
- Participate in monthly in-person meetings (travel expenses will be reimbursed).
- Participate in additional committee meetings and events as needed.
- Participate in an annual one-day retreat.
- Assist the agency with projects.
- Be a spokesperson for the agency.
